By Conrad
I ordered the large size, and it fit perfectly and worked extremely well. I hardly noticed I had it on, received lots of compliments on it, and never bothered to take it off in any situation (yard work, running, swimming, showering, etc). Very convenient and low-profile, which is exactly what I was going for.I started noticing the numbers fading and unable to be read in bright sunlight after about 3 months. I thought I had somehow damaged the watch, but thought I'd try replacing the battery to be sure. The battery was indeed the problem, but changing the battery is a huge hassle, and I'm guessing that Deuce intends the watch to be replaced rather than the battery. Getting the watch open is pretty straightforward: two screws holding the watch inside the band and four screws (fortunately the same size as standard eyeglass screws, as I lost two in the process) are in the back plate. Upon opening, a light layer of silicone accompanied the gasket that I assume makes this watch such a champ in water. It uses a 377 size battery; unfortunately Deuce uses a cheap alkaline SR626, which explains the short lifespan, but I replaced with a silver oxide 377. The battery has two tabs holding it tightly in place (for those that have problems with the watch resetting, it's likely because the battery isn't seated tightly enough). In carefully trying to pry the tabs open, one of them broke. Not a deal-breaker, because I was able to keep the second one tight enough to keep the battery in position, but if it breaks as well, the watch is done for. After putting the watch back together, seemingly good as new, I went to the pool and almost immediately noticed moisture inside the face. Apparently the gasket isn't enough to seal the watch, and silicone must be reapplied in order to maintain its integrity. Reapplying silicone on such a tiny surface without getting it where it doesn't belong is quite a challenge, and if it weren't for the fact that I'm cheap and refuse to give up, I'd get rid of it.Great concept for a watch with lots of potential; needs a better battery design (or at least detailed instructions on how to change it successfully)

The Deuce is a great watch for sports because it isn't clunky and heavy the watch is also clear to read. Its only 12 grams and apparently has Negative Ion Technology so you dont have to wear a power band. No problems whatsoever. Would like a bigger date button though too tiny.

By TJ
When I first saw the G2 watch and read that it was waterproof and light-weight I had no second thought about purchasing it for my swimming.I got a Black G2 Deuce watch and received it on Aug. 22nd around 2pm. Went for a swim in the pool around 8pm and by next morning I noticed quite a lot of condensation forming inside the watch - not what I was expecting from a waterproof watch. A few days later the watch has turned useless with the digits being mostly erased. My recommendation (and lesson learned) is: if you're getting this watch, DO NOT swim with it, it is not waterproof as they claim.
